What's New @ Clubspeed

Our team is thrilled about the multitude of positive changes we've experienced this year including; investing in advanced features, adding more and more customers and expanding into a variety of family entertainment centers (FEC). While our name is well-known as the first to develop software serving the FEC market, we are excited to reintroduce Clubspeed to you, how the company has evolved and what's in store to help our customers grow their business now and in the future. 

Clubspeed offers a robust list of features for karting and activity centers that continues to grow as the demands of our customers become more complex. The needs of karting facilities are unique and we are committed to delivering features that help our customers run their business with ease and efficiency.

Go karts may not be the only activity you offer at your family entertainment center, but they are surely a main attraction for customers to visit. Take your karting up a notch and add a layer of competition with timing technology.

Think about your average customer. When they come to your karting track, they expect a day of having fun and racing with friends or family. They may visit your facility for a day every so often, with long stretches of time before they return.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is an extensive law that went into effect in the European Union as of May 25, 2018. It is a replacement for the Data Protection Directive which set minimum standards for data processing, with updated and additional laws surrounding the protection of consumers’ personal data. Taking a “consumer-first” approach, the new laws give individuals more rights and control over their own data. It impacts any business, whether a part of the EU or not, that handles EU citizens’ personal information. At a high level, the laws require businesses to be transparent about what data they are collecting from their customers and how they plan to use it, as well as ensuring accuracy of this information moving forward.

Real-Time Location System (RTLS) has arrived, allowing our karting clients to track customer race times and scores in more advanced ways than they ever could before.

RTLS refers to systems that identify and track the location of objects or people in real time, usually inside a building or other contained space. This technology has many applications including hospitals and health systems, manufacturing and retail, but organizations in other industries are getting creative and taking advantage of this technology to improve the experience for their customers.
