Takeaways from IKA 2019

Posted by Ana Wieser on 2/12/19 6:45 AM

A couple of weeks ago, we attended  the International Kart Association (IKA) annual expo in Offenbach, Germany as an official exhibitor. We were able to talk with reps from karting tracks as well as industry experts from all over the world to learn about the latest trends in track design and kart innovation.

A popular movement  right now for tracks is creative track design; from elevated to multi-level tracks, many businesses are making changes to keep things new and exciting for their customers. This also allows owners to maximize their space and in some cases, add a second or third track to increase sales under the same roof. Racers want to take on the next challenge, and providing inventive ways for them to do that means they have a great experience at your track.

We continue to see karting tracks adding new activities-from ninja courses, to rock climbing and even axe throwing. By giving your customers options in addition to a great racing experience, you can keep your customers in the center longer and provide excitement to keep them coming back.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth; we look forward to seeing you all next year!
